MONTGOMERY - Alabama has once again shown marked improvement in education quality and now ranks above the national average for the first time in the latest Education Week “Quality Counts” report.
MONTGOMERY - Alabama Supreme Court Justice Champ Lyons informed Governor Bob Riley on Friday that he resigned from the state’s highest court effectively immediately and he strongly recommended that the Governor appoint Judge James Allen Main of the Court of Criminal Appeals to the vacancy.
